Dennis Suh manages the firm’s client relationships and leads the capital markets team. He has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate lending and brokerage that spans multiple roles, including CMBS loan origination, underwriting, transaction management and debt and equity placement. Prior to forming ASKD Capital, Dennis worked at Valuexpress, Barclays, UBS, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse in New York. He has a BA from New York University, J.D. from Hofstra School of Law and is a member of the NY state Bar Association.

  • Founder and Principal of ASKD Capital.
  • Senior Vice President at ValueXpress, Vice President at Barclays Capital, Director at UBS Securities, Analyst at Goldman Sachs, and Associate at Credit Suisse. Before that Dennis had stints at Shearman & Sterling and Kim & Chang.
  • For five years, trained brokers how to originate and underwrite CMBS conduit loans at Commercial Capital Training Group (CCTG), the largest finance training company in the industry.

Apurv Vajifdar has over 20 years of experience in all facets of the hotel industry. He is an investor and managing member of a portfolio of franchised hotels located in the Northeast which he manages through his own management company, “North East Hospitality”. He has extensive experience in hotel acquisitions and financing, including 15 years as the CFO for a prolific hotel developer. He has an engineering degree from Sardar Vallabhbhai Regional College of Engineering and Technology and an MBA from South Gujarat University, India.

Johnny Weon has over 25 years of experience in mortgage banking and finance while working at Middleburg Bank and Wells Fargo and has extensive experience in commercial SBA financing. He is the principal investor of “Mortgage 4 U, LLC”, one of the nation’s fastest growing residential wholesale lenders in the south and east coast with offices in Maryland, Virginia, and Texas.
